I was introduced to welding at 14 and fell in love the first time I struck an arc. As the time progressed I also learned I had a love for being with the best in the industry. I chose to compete, and for 8 years I built my competition career. The last year and a half has been filled with nothing but perfecting my craft to represent the United States in the Olympics of welding competition. 90+ hours a week not making a dime so that I could become a world class welder. An expert in making absurdly high quality welds in a short amount of time and under immense pressure. Even competing against countries that got to train for 5 years compared to my year and a half, I brought home the bronze medal claiming the title of 3rd in the world and the first U.S. Podium medalist in nearly a decade.
In the 46 years of WorldSkills welding competition they have
never had a competitor attain perfect scores on all of their
x-ray testing until this year. That level of quality had never been attained before by any competitor or country but I achieved it and will continue for that level of quality in each and every job I do. After taking on the world in welding competition I chose to build a business that could bring world class skill and quality to any job it took on. My mission is to raise up the welding community as a whole and show those new to the field and those not even in the field that hard work will get your places you never dreamed you could be
WorldSkills is Olympics for skilled trades. It allows skilled people from all across the globe compete with the best of the best within their given trade. To represent the United States as the sole welding competitor that year you must beat out every other competitive welder in the nation. The trials process is an 8 month long process and is what selects the U.S. competitor. As a competitor you must be 100% dedicated and give up everything else in your life to remain competitive at this level.
